Good idea for a high school newspaper column?

I'm writing a column/editorial for our school newspaper, and I can't think of any interesting topics that high school students would like. It doesn't have to be about our school directly, it doesn't even have to be about school. I am just trying to create a story that teens would read and actually think about. Any ideas?
