I dont get this joke, what does it mean?

This is far from a joke. This is one of the precursors to a music-less world because things like this are killing music. One day, we'll all be reminiscing about how we used to listen to music and enjoy our time. "Hey, remember -xxxx-? Yea, that song was awesome!" No more. Eventually, kids will not know what music is. "What is music, daddy -or- mommy?" Sad day... Sad day indeed...
